It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oscar G. Parker of Petersburg, Indiana, born in Sharples, West Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dettie Frances (Lambert) and James Mason Parker; his siblings, Delbert Ray Parker, Robert Clay Parker and Wilma Gay Lane; and his grandson Jacob Wesley Parker.

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Piercefield); his sister Janice May Parker of Jeffrey, WV; his children, Sandra Kay Berkemeier (Tony) of St. Wendel, James and Wesley Parker (Cheri Parker) of Evansville; his stepchildren, Marty Joe Thompson of Newton, IL and Marla Jean Diel (Ron) of Gila, IL; his grandson David Michael Berkemeier of St. Wendel; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn Jo Diel Stremme (Josh) of Terre Haute and Jacob Willis Diel of Gila, IL..

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037.
