We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 72, Pamela Nelson of Petersburg, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Ackerman and Allene Ackerman (Vote). She is survived by: her husband James L. Nelson of Jasper; her son Jeffrey (Mendy); her grandsons, Nolan and Sam of Petersburg; and her sister Linda Goad of Ormond Beach, FL..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Petersburg First United Methodist Church or Pike County Christian Assistance.
