He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill R. Dorrell and Lillian L. Dorrell (Barnett); his former wife Jacqueline Mae Dorrell (Oberle); and his siblings, Kenneth, Homer, Robert Dorrell, Marjorie Imhausan and Mabel White.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Mae Dorrell (Oberle); his wife Wilma Dorrell (Emberton) of Plainfield; his children, Stanton E. Dorrell (Anita) of Greenwood, Donald K. Dorrell (Debbie) of Pittsboro and Debora J. Wiltermood (Jack) of Danville; his grandchildren, Ryan Dorrell (Katie), Kyle Dorrell, Ross Dorrell (Megan), Lindsey Calloway (Jason), Eric Pitts (Katie), Camille Dorrell (Carl) and Alexa Dorrell; and his brother W. Ernest Dorrell of Florida. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren.
