He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Alva Valentine and Myrtle Louise White Valentine; his siblings, Wayne Valentine and Marilyn Wells; and his parents-in-law, Mary Alice Jones Schrader and Melvin D. "Jack" Love.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Rae Schrader Valentine; his daughter Gail Valentine Rutledge (Mark) of Plainfield; his grandson Christopher Michael Rutledge; his brother Larry Valentine (Thelma); and his friends, Susan Jackman and Larry Jackman.
