He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Peltz and Evelyn Peltz (Walters). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Meyers; his children, Rhonda Mooney (Mark) and Kirk Peltz (Val); his grandchildren, Brittney Mooney (Oliver Dibiasi) and Lillian Mooney (Drew Jankowski); and his siblings, Charles Peltz (Sharon), David Peltz (Sally), Sharon Greenhalgh (Dick), Francis Zipper (Jeff), Janet DeVine (Check), James Scheetz (Jenny) and Paula Bayak (Andrew).
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at Woundedwarrior.org.
