He was predeceased by: his sister Rena Mae Poteet; and his son-in-law Don L. Rose. He is survived by: his wife Margaret F. Osborne Stein; his children, Peggy Rose (Wayne Garrison), Michael Stein (Linda) and Thomas Stein (Sue Ann); his grandchildren, Kenny Stein, Dustin Stein, Brandi Morris, Shanna Rose, Heather Rose-Carter and Natalie Naviaux; and his great grandchildren, Briana Fleming, Sydney Stein, Lilli Stein, Macy Stout, Chloe Stout, Evan Dorelli, Ethan Morris, Braeden Morris and Whitney Lloyd.
