It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Bowers Ainscough (Plainville, Indiana), born in Odon, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Franklin and Margaret J. Franklin (Porter); her former life partner Allen Dwight Bowers; her husband Porter Wayne Ainscough; her significant other John Lease; her daughter Diane S. Cleghorn; her sons-in-law, David Cleghorn and Wayne Vaughn; her grandchildren, Carrie Ann Vaughn and Richard Alan Hooover; her stepgreat-grandson Nathan Davis; and her siblings, Waughneta Smith (Earl), Porter Franklin (Thelma), Orville 'Busty' Franklin (Joyce), Robert Franklin, Jack Franklin (Joan) and John Franklin.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carlotta J. Wayman (Max) of Taylorville, IL, Connie Jean Alvey of Bedford, Carolyn G. Vaughn (Rick) of Plainville and Patricia A. Chapman (John) of Washington; her stepson Tommy Ainscough of Columbus; and her son David 'Smitty' Smith (Bev) of Odon. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.
