He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Surber and Gladys L. Surber (Brady); his children, Carol Raye Stailey of Rochester, William and John Surber; and his siblings, Bud, Buster, Ed, Dorothy and Bertha Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Carol of Plymouth; his children, Greg Surber (Cindy) of South Bend and Patty Tolliver of Culver; his grandson Connor Surber of South Bend; and his sibling's children, James Brinson and Gladys O'steen.
