He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Leatherman and Ruth Leatherman (Bolton); his wife Patsy; his stepfather Norman; his children, Bonnie Coffin, Danny Montague and Jimmy Montague; his grandchildren, Tangi and Warren; his great grandchild Micah; and his brother Dan.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Jones, Gary Montague (Sherry), Randy Montague, Micky Montague and Buck Montague; and his sister Esther. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home (1100 N Michigan St, Plymouth, IN 46563). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 Chester St, Plymouth, IN 46563).
