With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Salome Alaniz-Medina of Portage, Indiana, born in Riviera, Texas, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Valentin Longoria and Filomena Longoria; her husband Refugio Alaniz-Medina; her sons, David Alaniz, Joel Medina and Antonio Alaniz; her granddaughter Lisa Medina; her great grandchild Olivia Medina; and her siblings, Valentin Jr., Manuel Longoria, Donato Longoria, Tomasita Arguijo, Isabel Gutierrez-Vasquez, Beatriz DeLaRosa and Irene Garcia.
She is survived by : her children, Arnold Alaniz (Rose), Rene Alaniz (Donna), Patrick Alaniz (Angie), Ana Madrigal, Maria Martinez (Raul) and Filomena Vega (Leroy); and her siblings, Ernesto Longoria and Filomena Muniz (Luis). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
