He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Petschke and Joanna Ruth Petschke (Hughes); his son Kevin Petschke; and his siblings, Francis, Mike, Bruce Petschke and Deborah Hunter.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Petschke; and his children, Paula Duncan, Jeff Henry (Sheryl) and Doug Henry. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
