In loving memory of Jane Anne Thompson of Portland, Indiana, who departed this world on October 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Jane Anne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil T. Smith and Marianna Smith (Wheeler); and her sister Jeannie Habegger. She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Tuttle (Mark) and Kim Bye (Rodney); her grandchildren, Shanna Young (Chad) and Caleb Bye; and her great grandchildren, Daylen, Hunter, Gavin, Chandler and Sawyer Young. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (289 S 200 W, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed towards Upward City Church in Ravenna, Ohio.
