It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn James-Beeler of Portland, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Myers and Norma Myers (Renner); her husband Danny Lee Beeler; her children, Kathleen Beeler (Britt) and Nickie Scott; her stepchildren, Hassie Esparza, Tressie Monroe (Doug), IndianaTonya Roser (Chris) and IndianaHeidi McGinnis (George); and her siblings, Robert Myers (Blanche), Vera Sue McBride (Roger), Lakeland, FloridaPam Wianans (Dan), Decatur, IndianaCheryl Dunning, Indiana14 and Michael Myers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson-Spencer & Penrod Funeral Home (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
