He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert N. Karcher and Mary Louise Karcher; and his brothers, Robert Karcher and George Richard Karcher. He is survived by: his children, David Karcher (Celeste), Michael Karcher, Mary Jane Scheller (Tom), Kevin Karcher (Dana), Stanley Karcher (Angie), Denise Rodgers and Gary Karcher (Christy); his grandchildren, Brooke Travers (Scheller), Keith, Nicholas, Grant, Christine Scheller, Chelsey Mayser (Karcher), Lauren Yekel (Karcher), Evan, Michaela, Mitchell Karcher, Andrew, Emily, Hannah Rodgers, Chloe and Myla Karcher; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Ava Travers and Fiona Mayser; and his sister Wilma Karcher of McCleansboro, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held at Colvin Funeral Home, officiated by Fr. Brian Emmick; a celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
