He is survived by: his sons, Kent Schurmeier, Georgia Schurmeier of Haubstadt, Tim Schurmeier and Cheryl Schurmeier of Princeton; his sister Lillian Bertram of Georgia; and his close friend Joan McReynolds of Princeton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
