He is survived by: his wife Jayne Schafer; his children, Tine White (Dale) of Patoka, Shawn Schafer (Amanda) of Princeton and Cortney Schafer (Crystal) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Skylar Ranard, Samantha Kahle, James Michael White, Damon Meny, Alex Schafer, Bailey Schafer, Sawyer Schafer, Katlyn Schafer and Hunter Stokes; his siblings, Larry Schafer (Ida) of Evansville and Peggy Willis (Gary) of Somerville; and his aunt Gweneth Beasley of Francisco.
