He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Walden (Tucker); his children, Eric Walden, Dennis Walden and Elizabeth Walden Wiggins; and his siblings, Grant Walden, Paris E. Walden, Celeste Walden and Wilma Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Alfrieda Lawrence (Henry) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Paulette Tamaya and Celesta Malone (Ronald); his siblings, Jonathan Walden (Cheryl) of Princeton, Indiana and Billy Walden of Evansville; and his grandchild Lila Shomate of Princeton. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
