He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Charles, Sr. and Daisy Elwanda Caringer (Heath); and his siblings, Kenneth Charles Caringer, Jr., Karen Somers and Phyllis Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Caringer (Bates); his sons, Casey Caringer of Princeton and Clint Caringer of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Kimber Caringer, Braeden, Finley, Ryland Caringer and Aiden Cavins; and his siblings-in-law, Reita Caringer of Herrin, Patricia O'Rourke (Tim), Barbara Krieg (Dale), Pam Bates, Joe Bates (Donna), Jerry Bates (Billie), Jeff Bates (Donna), Tim Bates (Lana) and Tom Bates (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Deaconess HeartSaver Program providing AED's for first responders in the tristate.
