He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Greenwell and Caroline Greenwell (Walthon); and his siblings, Betty Grubb, Jeanette Meeks, Virginia Gray, Buddy Greenwell and Jerry Greenwell.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Greenwell of Princeton; his children, William "Bill" Greenwell Jr. (Debbie) of Princeton and Lisa Schafer (Kris) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Kyle Greenwell (Kelci), Beau Greenwell (Lanae), D'Nell Greenwell, Detrix Schafer (Hannah), Dakota Thacker (Jake) and Daegan Schafer; his great grandchildren, Klay, Luke, Leo, Wyatt, Rowan, Tatum, Brady and Myles; and his siblings, Lucy Gaston of Princeton, Charles "Max" Greenwell of Evansville, Ronnie Greenwell of Tennessee, John Greenwell of Evansville and Henry Greenwell of Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic School or to the P.C.H.S.
