She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Jackson and Pearl Newman Jackson; her husbands, Raymond A. Pennington and Robert K. Bary; and her son Andrew J. Pennington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Veronica Pennington of Crestwood, KY, Dineshia Nicholson of Salem, IN. and Althea Pennington of Salem, IN.; her grandchildren, Althea, Lisa Nicholson, Leeann Cook (Cary), Sean Broadhurst (Michele) and Jesse Pennington; her great grandchildren, Mary Ann Ward, Dineshia LaAnn Wheeler, Drake Lee, Derek Levi, Cale Cook and Beau Broadhurst; and her great great grandchildren, Kelly Ward, Lynn Marie Cornett, Whitney Sue Wheeler and Joleen Grace Wheeler.
