She was predeceased by: her parents, Parvin L. Wagner and Nellie E. Anderson Wagner; her husband Charles Vaughn Hurst; and her brothers, Lewis Daniel, George Ervin, Marvin Ray and Carl Lewis Wagner.

She is survived by: her friend Forrest Timberlake Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
