She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Dobson and Addie Fugate Dobson; her husband Ewtice Gayheart; and her siblings, Danas, Ocus, Beechus Dobson, Mabel McClure, Ruby Dobson, Herma Martin, Pluma Dobson, Cuba Bolin, Githa McKenzie and Mavis Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Michael E. Gayheart (Sandy) of Parrot, GA, Ronald L. Gayheart (Kathy) of Huntingburg, IN, Marc L. Gayheart (Stephanie) of Taylorsville, KY, Roxane Swarens (Norman) of Ramsey, IN, Regina Clunie (Dwight) of Depauw, IN and Rosetta Rothrock (Doug) of New Salisbury, IN.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
