He is survived by: his wife Edna Gates Schmidt; his brothers, Clifford and Odie Schmidt; his nephew Greg Schmidt; his children, Jonni Schmidt and Jeff Schmidt (Sandy); his grandchildren, Ryan and Ross; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Jaelyn and Canaan; his sister Joyce Cart; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Beavers Vermillion and Tony Beavers.
There will only be a 3 hour visitation, (Face Mask required) Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 9 am to noon with the funeral at the funeral home following immediately afterwards.
