He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. and Nellie Pearson Knowland, Sr.; his wife Janet Lee Collett Knowland; and his sister Sharon Gibson. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy R. Wright (Ray) of New Salisbury, IN and Brenda Basham (George) of New Salisbury, IN; and his sisters, Verna Dickey (Bruce) of Louisville, KY and Dorothy Combs of Lexington, TN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
