He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell C. Draper and Marilyn Draper Wools (Williams); and his son Steven J. Draper. He is survived by: his wife Mary Draper; his children, William R. Draper (Kathy), KKoty Draper, Jessica Draper and Jenifer Draper-Cantrell (Rodney); and his sisters, Linda Archer (Dale) and Darla Draper. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the family has decided to have private services at Calcutta Cemetery.
