We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2023, at the age of 62, Karen Elaine Thompson of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Elaine Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her mother Carol Iffert (Bentley). She is survived by : her father Daniel Iffert; her children, Jacqueline Buczek, Matthew Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Tyler Thompson and Paulina Hasty (Andrew); and her siblings, Danna Shivley, Mark Iffert, Keith Iffert, Sue Iffert (Chris) and Laura Holst (Jeff). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Emphysema Foundation (NEF) in Karen's honor.
