With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Allen Byers of Rensselaer, Indiana, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Byers (Mary) and Ruth Havens (John); and his stepbrother Dick Simmermon. He is survived by : his wife Kimberly K. Herre; his daughters, Stefanie Lane (Randy) of Rensselaer, IN. and Heather Hayes (Joe) of Rensselaer, IN.; his sister Jean Woods (Davis) of Germantown, TN; and his stepsiblings, Pam Davis (Mike) of Rensselaer, IN and Randy Simmermon (Lynn) of Bella Vista, AR..

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Rick's honor.
