It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma P. Nagel of Rensselaer, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Mathew and Melina Mathew (Trongeau); her son David; and her siblings, Laverne Mathew, Vincent Mathew, Vera Lague, Evelyn McGraw and Alvin Mathew.
She is survived by : her husband Walter Nagel, Jr.; her son Duane (Debra); her daughter-in-law Cindy Graves; and her sister-in-law Rita Mathew. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Augustine Christian Women or St. Augustine Catholic School.
