She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Barnett and Cathryn Barnett; and her brother Wesley Barnett. She is survived by : her husband Walter Howell Shaw Jr.; her stepchildren, Angela Lyle (Larry) and Grant H. Shaw (Marty); her grandson Landon A. Shaw; and her brother Gordon Barnett (Carol).
