Betty Ballard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 83, Betty Ballard (Rising Sun, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nadine Jackson (Gulley) and Clifford P. Jackson; her brother Donald Gene Jackson; and her son Dana Lee Ballard. She is survived by: her husband Stanley Ballard of Greendale, IN; her children, Debbie Chrisman (Marvin) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Kathy Scott of Greendale, IN, David Ballard (Regina) of Patriot, IN, Kevin Ballard (Kerrie) of Greendale, IN and Steve Ballard of Rising Sun, IN; her grandchildren, Racheal, Janelle, Danielle, Chantel, Kayla, Alyssa, Michelle, Jackie, Lisa, Brandon, Tyler, Keegan, Michael and Mark; and her sister Linda Jackson Price of North Bend, OH.. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at the Risiing Sun New Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markland Funeral Home (327 N High St, Rising Sun, IN 47040).
