He was predeceased by: his parent James E. Shaw; his brother Richard Wayne "Rick" Shaw; and his nephew James Jessie Shaw. He is survived by: his son Jimmy Dale Shaw II (Kara Masters) of Erlanger, KY; his stepson Robert Taylor of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Oaklynn Shaw, Evelyn Shaw, Hunter McIntosh, Bobby, Stevie and Rachel Taylor; his sister-in-law Cathy Shaw of Patriot, IN; and his sibling's children, Rebecca, Rikki, Brandi and Willy.
