She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Groce (Higgens) and Sidney Groce; her sister Terry McCarty; and her brother-in-law Charlie McCarty. She is survived by: her husband Leroy Smeeks; her sons, Casey Smeeks (Mary Cyphers) of East Enterprise, IN, Matt Smeeks (Sara) of Georgetown, KY and Michael Smeeks (Shari) of Lawrenceburg, IN; and her siblings, Steve Groce of Dillsboro, IN and Nancy Bawn (Walter) of Lawrenceburg, IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
