He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Livengood and Blanche Livengood (Heckman); and his daughter Jill Lefebvre. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kay Benedict; his son-in-law Alec Lefebvre of Macy; his granddaughters, Cortnee and Carlee Lefebvre; and his siblings, Dave Livengood of Peru, Jim Livengood of Denver and Nancy Clouse (Tom) of Rockford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
