With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard Wayne Hyser Sr. of Roanoke, Indiana, whose life came to an end on August 8, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hyser and Mildred Hyser (Parker). He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Hyser; his children, Christine Pratt, Michelle Gruettert (Michael), Lori Hyser, Debbie Gaff and Richard Hyser, Jr. (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Amber Pressler, Tadd Pratt (Jessica), Clinton Gruettert, Katie Reed (Frank), Jeffrey Gruettert (Taylor), Alivia Michel (Lane), Audrey Jacquay (Andy), Karrisy Hyser and Tayla Sanchez (Michael). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Arcola (12305 Arcola Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be given in memory of Richard to Masses at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola or Stillwater Hospice.
