He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Eugene Frye; and his grandparents, Ray "Buck", Martha Pauline Frye, Lloyd and Katherine Perry.
He is survived by: his mother Eda Mae Rogers (Perry) of Gosport, IN; his siblings, Randy Frye of Indianapolis, IN, Robert "Bob" Frye of Mooresville, IN, Ronald "Ronnie" Frye of Gosport, IN and Melva Jo Coss (Gary) of Mooresville, IN; his forever fishing buddy Carl Rogers; and his close friend Danny Puckett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nebo Memorial Park (3295 IN-252, Martinsville, IN 46151).
