We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2021, at the age of 91, Betty Zimmer of Royal Center, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Meter and Lovie Van Meter (Fiddler); her husband Louis E. Zimmer; and her siblings, Daniel Van Meter, Martha Studebaker, Mildred Rans, Bud Van Meter, Weldon Van Meter, Ernest Van Meter and Donald Van Meter.

She is survived by : her children, Gary L. Zimmer (Peggy) of Rosedale, Jeffery L. Zimmer (Bobbi) of Royal Center, Linda S. Zimmer of Royal Center, Sharon L. Smith (David) of Billings, Randal D. Zimmer (Jennifer) of Winamac and Bradley A. Zimmer (Anne Haley) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Steven Gwin (Loretta), Sara Ramsey (Chris), Justin Zimmer (Erica), Cole Zimmer (Sabrina), Jacob Couch, Misty Wade (Chris), Maria Zimmer and Jordan Couch (Maria); and her great grandchildren, Cody, Noah Gwin, Whitney, Matthew Ramsey, Asher Lyman, Braelyn Couch, Paisley Zimmer, Kason and Maverick Zimmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Metea Baptist Church and/or the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Department.
