It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Illeane Newman (Rushville, Indiana), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Tice and Frances Tice (Jeffries). She is survived by: her husband Gene Newman of Arlington; her children, David Newman (Monica) of Arlington, Terry Newman (Mary) of Beech Grove, Rhea Newman (Sandy) of Indianapolis and Kelli Newman (Angie) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Brandon Newman (Madison), Brooke Newman, Elizabeth McTarsney and Matthew Munden; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Parker Newman, Caleb Munden, Faith, Olivia, Abby and Mackenzie McTarsney.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hannegan Christian Church (4871 N 400 W, Rushville, IN 46173). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
