He was predeceased by : his parents, William Smith and JoAnn Mantooth (Maple). He is survived by : his wife Janice Smith (Brandenburg); his daughter Shannon Lykins (Ryan) of Avon; his brother David Smith (Lora); his half-siblings, Steven Smith (Missy) and Becky Bottoms Smith; and his grandchildren, Olivia Williams and Sawyer Lykins. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
