It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Callahan of Saint Mary of the Woods, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Kress and Helen Kress (Schick); her siblings, Henry Kress (Helen), Wilbur Kress (Martha), Catherine Butts (Virgil) and Betty Piker (Walter); and her sister-in-law Marge Kress.

She is survived by : her husband Robert; her daughter Cheryl Thornton (Don) of Terre Haute; her grandsons, Nathan (Lauren) of Noblesville and Tyler of Chicago; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Eloise and Lydia; and her brother Robert Kress. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
