It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Vanes of Schererville, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman "Dean" Vanes; her granddaughter Amber Vanes; and her siblings, John (Dutko), Charlene Madura (late Michael) and Betty Semanick (late Jim).

She is survived by: her children, Renee Harangody (Mark) and Michael Vanes; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jocic and Matt Harangody; her sons, Steven Vanes (Brittney) and Brandon Vanes (Carli); and her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Emma and Phillip. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
