She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Griffin and Virginia Griffin; her children, Jerry Tyrone Lyell and Connie Sue Lyell Zachary; and her siblings, Joyce Cruz, Barbara Morgan, Bobby Griffin, Shirley "JoJo" Streeter, Paul Griffin and Tommy Griffin.
She is survived by: her husband Philip Granger Sr. of Scottsburg, Indiana; her children, Penny Lynn Gates of Indiana and Philip Granger Jr. (Lisa) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Travis, Becky, Trevor, Courtney, Ashley, Lauren and Chucky; and her sisters, Sharron Warner of Illinois and Beverly Griffin of Illinois. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
