He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Walls and Julia Ann Bough Walls; his children, Gary Jones and Patricia Ann Mills; his siblings, Gerald Walls, Leo Walls, Ken Walls, Jack Walls, Harold Walls and Joanne Goad; and his grandson Adam Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen W. Meredith Walls; his children, Lary Jones of Campbellsburg, Fred L. Walls Jr. of Scottsburg and Linda Martin of Mitchell; and his sister Helen Goad of Bloomfield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
