He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard "Hap" Hough and Margaret Hough (Burdge); the mothers of children, Renee and Marlene Hough (Spall); and his great grandchild Jazlyn Pearcy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Hough (Newby); his children, Richard "Dick" Hough (Martha) of Scottsburg, Bart A. Hough (Jill) of Austin, Indiana and Wachtel (Thom) of Louisville, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Jennifer McClintock of Mitchell, Indiana and Jerry H. C. McClintock of Mitchell, Indiana; his sister Betty Jean Goodman of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hough (Kelsey), Lene Benoit (Will), Adam Hough (Laura), Becca Hough (Bryan Fischer), Maci Wachtel, Elizabeth Jones (Eric), Matthew Pearcy (Tara), Brian Pearcy (Jennifer), Brittney McClintock and Shelby Donohue.
Memorials may be given to the Scottsburg Presbyterian Church c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
