He was predeceased by: his brothers, Master Pilot Award and Hap; and his son-in-law Chuck Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Juanita "Jinks" Happel; his children, Melodee McNames (Michael), Julie Parsons, Eric Happel (Cindy) and Kevin Happel (Ann); his sister Alberta "Bertie" Mooney (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jared McNames, Jassen McNames (Stacey), Adam Parsons (Erica), Drew Parsons, Elliott Happel (Lydia), Austin, Carson Happel, Conrad Riser, Charlotte and Cole Happel. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
