He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Fernung and Magdelena Fernung (Kreis); and his brother John Fernung. He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Hall (Greg) of Zionsville and Shawna Thomas (Jeff) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Braden Hall, Bailey Hall, Holden Thomas, Maddux Thomas and Adeline Thomas; his siblings, Jerry Fernung (Barbee) of Sharpsville, Linda Warner of Kokomo and Brent Fernung (Crystal) of Ocala, Florida; and his siblings' children, Kyle Fernung (Melinda), Scott Warner (Jeanette), Kory Fernung (Danalee), Shari Castor (Tyler), Casey Bradford (Garrett), Andrew Fernung (Calli) and Nicole Agasar (Andrew).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sharpsville United Methodist Church (228 W Meridian St, Sharpsville, IN 46068). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
