In loving memory of Creed Wells of Shelbyville, Indiana, who departed this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Creed leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Harrison Wells and Mabel Edna Wells (Larkey); his brother Harrison Eugene Wells; and his granddaughter Magen Cheyenne Benefiel. He is survived by: his children, Robin Benefiel (David) of Shelbyville, Angela Glenn (Ronald) of Shelbyville and Shannon Walsman (Travis) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Alice Spurling, Sandra Brown, James Wells, Phyllis Stevens, Dale Wells and Millie Havens; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Miranda, Ryan, Dylan, Riley and Macaylee. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home (437 Amos Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation in care of the funeral home.
