It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bassett of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbur Gaines and Julia Gaines Reed (Bishop); her siblings, Garnet "Dale" Gaines and Shirley Snowden; and her son-in-law Greg Rogian.

She is survived by : her daughter Denise Rogian of New Palestine; her granddaughter Joanna Pike; and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Keidan and Levi Pike.
