Joan L. Field Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joan L. Field of Shelbyville, Indiana, whose life came to an end on November 7, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren L. Comstock and Alma N. Comstock (Cochran); her husband Owen M. "Bud" Field Jr.; and her cousin Jacqueline Painter. She is survived by: her children, Owen M. Field III (Myra) of Chicago, Illinois and Gina Towler (Jon) of Snellville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Alison Rockmann (Kevin), Thomas Towler (April), Daniel Towler (Katy) and Anastasia Field; and her great grandchildren, Kip Rockmann, Blake Rockmann, Pearson Towler, Hagen Towler, Owen Towler and Dottie Towler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
