It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Kay Isaacs-Witkemper of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Trueblood and Flossie Trueblood (Boyd); her stepfather Herman Kroner; and her siblings, Barbara Watson and Donald Trueblood.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Isaacs (Deana) of New Palestine and Roland Isaacs (Leslie) of Carmel; her sister Janet Harrison of Connersville; and her grandchildren, Cory, Malia, Clara, Charlotte, Lincoln, Jessica, Heidi, Landon, Sidney, Rachel and Logan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
