She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Emerson McDonald and Iris Pauline McDonald (Banks); her husband Norman Dale Chancy; and her brothers, Gary B. and William Joseph McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Kristy DeHart Hamner of Columbus and Brad Chancy of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Brittney Wright-Hamner (Alisha) of Columbus, Ashlie Michael (Dustin) of Columbus, Taylor Harper of Columbus, Cameron Chancy of Morristown and Lauren Chancy of Morristown; and her great grandchildren, Zackaryah Wright-Hamner of Columbus, Lucas Harper of Columbus and Henry Michael of Columbus.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bennett Cemetery.
